Do we provide financing?
Yes, we provide financing through Enerbank. Financing is offered on door installations only. No financing on door repairs. A $1000 minimum purchase is required to apply with Enerbank.
Do we provide payment terms for businesses?
Yes, we provide terms up to Net60 for commercial accounts. However, all service calls are COD on the 1st visit. You must fill out a credit application to be considered for commercial credit terms.
Do we provide payment terms for residential installation and repairs?
No, all residential repairs and installations are C.O.D.
Do we provide free estimates on new door installations?
Yes, one of our estimators will visit your home and give you a free custom quote. Service techs are not estimators and scheduling a service call and then opting for a door quote while on the tech is on site will incur a service call.
Do we do free repair estimates?
No, we do not complete estimates for repairs without a charge. We charge $69.00 for a service call. This includes the cost to travel to your home and complete diagnostics. We often offer coupons for those that complete repairs. These coupons do not apply unless we complete a repair at your home.
Do we charge a service call cancellation fee?
Yes, we require a 4 hour cancellation notice. Please, be courteous and cancel with enough advance, so that we can fill that schedule space. If you schedule a service call and are a no show once we arrive you will receive a $69.00 invoice. Cancellations are only valid when made by phone or using the Fullslate app.
You may not combine coupons. 1 coupon per visit(ticket). We will not accept a coupon for any reason after the technician has left your home.
What do door kits include?
Door kits include door sections, track, shaft, springs, hinges, bearing plates and fixtures. Door kits do not include pre-punch backhang material, locks, vinyl weather seal for the door jambs. Door kits also do not include openers and accessories.
What do opener kits include?
Commercial openers include the motor, rail system (if applicable)safety sensors and a standard 3 button wall station. Remotes are not included in commercial opener kits. Most openers have built in receivers to program remotes. However, a few require external receivers to program any accessories. Our residential openers include a motor head, rail system, safety sensors and 1 remote. Other accessories will incur an additional cost
Do we require a deposit to order a door?
Yes, a 50% deposit is required to order your new door.
What is the warranty for door and opener installations?
We will come back to your home and make free adjustments to correct issues with the initial installation for 180 days after the day of initial installation. Operator error is not considered a warranty. Issues such as owner pulling the disengage cord, knocking photo eyes out of line, etc are not covered under warranty.
Parts are warrantied by their manufacturers and not by Garage Doors & More of the Piedmont. We will make parts claims on behalf of the customer.
We offer various spring warranties. Some warranties are limited lifetime warranties. Our warranties include the full cost of the new spring. They are not pro-rated. You will only be billed for a minimum service fee to install the new spring.
Our technicians run in 2 hour windows. Occasionally, there are times that we will not arrive on time due to traffic and time over runs on previous jobs. Our technicians will always call you when on the way. We do not offer discounts for late arrivals.
Do we deliver garage doors?
Yes, we deliver garage doors for $125 if you are within 50 miles of our location. See our GDM Delivery Policy
It is the responsibility of the customer to provide a permit when one is applicable.

Even at time that your labor warranty is active, some items are not warranty. Actions such as: Sitting the door down on an object, pulling the release cord by hand or on your cars roof rack, safety sensors out of line, vacation lock being engaged, pulling wires away from equipment, power breaker issues, hitting the door with your car or other items, etc. User error is not considered warranty. If the cable comes off of your garage door and you continually press the button until it damages your sections, we will not be responsible.
Do We Provide 24 hour service?
Yes, however, our 24 hour service is for emergency purposes only. For non-emergencies, we do not come out after hours. We will decided on a case by case basis what is considered an emergency. Door adjustments or warranty issues will not be handled after hours.
